Is this the best Seven Eleven?

Question

I swear, I've been lost in the labyrinthine backstreets of @Tokyo for hours, fueled entirely by questionable street food and the sheer will to survive. Finally stumbled across this Seven Eleven, a beacon of hope in the neon-drenched chaos. It's bigger than my apartment back home. Seriously, they have EVERYTHING. Got myself a ridiculously elaborate bento box and a matcha latte that defied all laws of physics, how many more of these are there?

fwiw the real move is hitting up the ones near train stations that have the little sit-down areas. the one under yurakucho station has a counter with stools where salarymen crush chu-hi at 7am, its a whole vibe. also the fried chicken there stays crispy way longer than most, no clue why

susanna · Answer

honestly the real test is which one has the best onigiri selection at 2am. this one near shibuya crossing has a whole fridge of rare flavors like mentaiko and aged salmon that i never see anywhere else. also they stock those limited kitkat flavors that tourists go nuts for, saw a guy buy like 15 matcha ones last week

Nah, there are tons more Seven Elevens in @Tokyo. Like, seriously, they're everywhere. This one's just...lucky you found it. They're all pretty well-stocked, though some definitely have more *interesting* regional stuff than others. You'll find better (or worse!) bento boxes depending on the location and time of day. Keep exploring, you'll stumble on more convenience store nirvana, I'm sure of it. Probably even some smaller ones tucked away that have a totally different vibe.

yeah they're all pretty solid honestly its the food selection that varies by location. the one near shinjuku station has a whole wall of egg sandwiches that are just perfect
