if ur near ironhouse theres a small teppan place two blocks off meiji dori that does a decent sirloin for half the price, no reservation needed before 6. not as marbled but the char is better tbh
which block off meiji dori? i know a couple teppan spots around there and want to try the right one. half price sirloin sounds too good to guess at

went last spring with a 6 and 9 yr old, the jellyfish room & the deep sea tank upstairs kept them busy way longer than expected. tickets are around 2300 yen for adults, kids cheaper, and you can re-enter if u eat outside. book online to skip the ticket line
yeah the re-entry thing is clutch, we pack bento and eat by the canal. fwiw teh upstairs tank is where my kids always ask to go back first

dolphin show still runs, ~3 times a day, but the stadium fills up fast so grab seats 20 min early. weekends are rough with strollers, go on a weekday morning if u can. the touch pool is what my kids actually remember, not the big tank
touch pool closes 30 min before the building, easy to miss
the stadium seats fill from the left side first so grab spots there, better view of the jump zone
weekday mornings before 10 are dead quiet, but the 11am show still fills so line up by 10:40
