I'll be in Gejiu for a few weeks in 2026 and need to see a doctor about a recurring stomach issue. Any idea which hospital or clinic locals use for that, roughly what a consultation costs, and whether foreign insurance is accepted at the main hospitals? I'm staying near Nhà hàng Sơn Đông if that helps narrow down what's close.

The Nhà hàng Sơn Đông name is a Vietnamese restaurant listing, which is odd for Gejiu, so double-check your address before you set out. The main option is Gejiu People's Hospital (个旧市人民医院) on Jianshe Road; consultation runs maybe 10 to 30 yuan. Bring cash and expect to pay upfront, since foreign insurance usually isn't accepted directly.
