I'm moving to Gejiu in 2026 and Quán Trà Sữa Henry Tả keeps coming up. Is it actually worth the hype or are there better spots nearby for a cheap afternoon drink?

Henry Tả's solid but Jinhu Lu has cheaper cups

The stalls by the old tin-mining museum side streets do a decent 8 yuan cup if you don't mind plastic stools.

Jinhu Lu is fine but honestly the little shops around the Gejiu No.1 Middle School gate area beat it on price, think 6 to 7 yuan a cup. Afternoon gets crowded with students though, so go before 4pm or after 6.
