That redirect thing is real, I got bounced there too. One thing though, the slip is done at the station covering your actual address, so if you're staying out near the lake end you might not use the main one. Ask your landlord which paichusuo handles your block.

yeah the old town spots near Jinhu Lu pull this exact move, cash only and a "member" room that's just a back table. 200 is steep too, they usually open at 100 and fold fast. walking was the right call.
