Stopped into a small bar on Bui Vien and the tab came out way higher than the menu prices, with a 'service charge' added twice. Is this a known scam at BCS or did I just get unlucky? Curious how the usual version of this works.

check the bill before paying, every time

double service charge usually means one was already baked into the menu price & they tacked a second line on for tourists. tbh just pay what the menu says & walk if they push back, bui vien bars fold fast when u dont blink
