Quan com Nga on Hoang Sa is more of a quick lunch spot than a sit down meal honestly. Com tam plates around there run 40k to 60k dong depending on toppings. For a proper sit down, the spots on Vo Van Tan are worth the walk.

Been there on a tourist stamp and the trap is the gap between expiry and your flight out, so bring an onward ticket printed, not on your phone.

yeah printed copy matters, and make sure the ticket shows a date after your requested extension, not just after the visa expiry.

Agree, and the ticket date should clear your requested extension by a week minimum

Visited last year, not a local, but the extension route depends on your entry stamp. Tourist visa extensions usually go through the immigration office on Nguyen Trai in District 5, and they often want your passport, a photo, and proof of where you're staying. What trips people up is the passport validity rule (six months) and photos that don't match the size they want.
