Is the Jameron Electronics bar scam real in Manila 2026?

Question

Someone in Manila told me a bar called Jameron Electronics is a known scam, that the name is just a front and the drinks are overpriced with a fake tab added at the end. I'm visiting in 2026 and want to know if this is a real thing or just a story. Can anyone explain how it actually works?

honestly that name sounds made up, like a fake bar name from a movie. if a place is called Jameron Electronics and sells drinks, thats already weird. id just stick to bars with actual reviews on google maps.

Check the tab yourself before paying.
