true, they count it out fast. just dont hand over a 1000 for a 90 peso meal unless u want to wait for them to hunt change elsewhere. smaller bills keep the whole thing moving

The place is tiny, maybe six tables, so even a short queue feels longer than it is. Bring small bills since change can be a hassle mid-rush. Weekday mornings around 10:30 are the sweet spot, after the breakfast crowd clears but before the office lunch wave hits. If you're coming from Makati, the jeepney drop on the main road puts you a two minute walk away.

six tables sounds right but the jeepney drop depends on which route, some stop farther up past the palengke. 10:30 works, though by 11 the sizzling plates start and the smoke hangs around

I stopped by on a weekday around 2pm and it was quiet, mostly office workers grabbing rice meals. It's very much a quick eat and go place, plastic chairs and fast turnover, not somewhere to linger. Go before noon or after 1:30 to skip the lunch rush.

go before noon, like 11:30, or the office crowd from nearby buildings fills teh place fast. order the pork BBQ with rice first, cheap and reliable. sisig is good too but the BBQ is what I'd get on a first visit.

yeah 11:30 is right, i'd add that the queue moves fast so don't skip it just cause it looks packed

It's a proper carinderia-style canteen, not a cafe, so go for the sisig and expect a lunch queue by noon.
