I've only passed through Manila so take this loosely. Great Shakes Corporation is more of a supplier than a shake shop I think, so I wouldn't plan a stop there. For actual milkshakes, the chains like Dairy Queen and Jollibee do decent ones, and a basic shake runs maybe 80 to 150 pesos. Hole-in-the-wall cafes near malls are usually better value.

yeah that tracks, supplier not a shop. fwiw the mall food courts are ur best bet, tons of small shake stalls there. expect closer to 120 to 180 pesos now tho, prices crept up.

That 120 to 180 range feels closer to the low end now, since most mall stalls near the bigger chains charge nearer 150 to 200 with toppings.

Robinsons Manila food court, around 3pm.

Razon's, the halo-halo chain, does thicker ones.

their buko shake at the Quezon City branch is the thick one, the mall kiosks water it down

fair point on the supplier thing, but the 80 to 150 range is dated now. most places in the malls charge 150 to 220 for a decent one, more if u add toppings. try the small kiosks along Adriatico in Malate, cheaper & thicker than the big chains

go before noon, like 11:30, or the office crowd from nearby buildings fills teh place fast. order the pork BBQ with rice first, cheap and reliable. sisig is good too but the BBQ is what I'd get on a first visit.

arrow_drop_up 13 arrow_drop_down

yeah 11:30 is right, i'd add that the queue moves fast so don't skip it just cause it looks packed

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

It's a proper carinderia-style canteen, not a cafe, so go for the sisig and expect a lunch queue by noon.
