1246 sits in Malate, so the after-midnight crowd is mixed: students, service industry folks, a few tourists. Drinks run around 150 to 300 pesos. If you want something quieter, the small bars along Adriatico toward Remedios stay open late.

yeah the adriatico stretch is solid, but most of those spots thin out by 2 so don't roll in too late. the one by the corner of nakpil usually keeps its lights on longest. cash is safer, some of them don't take cards after a certain hour

that nakpil corner spot is the one that stays lit past 2 but bring small bills since the atm nearby runs dry on weekends

1246 is fine for a nightcap since ur close but i wouldnt build the whole night around it. if u want the actual after midnight scene head to the jupiter st strip in makati, places there fill up past 1am & a taxi is maybe 150 to 200 pesos from u. fyi march gets humid at night so dress light

Fair point, though Friday and Saturday on Jupiter pull a crowd past 2am too, it's the midweek stretch that dies early.

Ten minutes can stretch to thirty once the bars empty out, so book the ride before you leave.

go before noon, like 11:30, or the office crowd from nearby buildings fills teh place fast. order the pork BBQ with rice first, cheap and reliable. sisig is good too but the BBQ is what I'd get on a first visit.

yeah 11:30 is right, i'd add that the queue moves fast so don't skip it just cause it looks packed

It's a proper carinderia-style canteen, not a cafe, so go for the sisig and expect a lunch queue by noon.
