visiting manila for a few months & great shakes corp keeps coming up, is it worth the trip? more importantly how do people actually meet folks here, like a recurring weekly thing not just a one off event. any regular meetups or hobby groups a newcomer can just show up to

Great shakes corp is fine but the queue on weekends kills it. for recurring stuff try the Tuesday climbing sessions at Power Up or the Sunday bike ride from Luneta. people just show up, no invite needed.
