Which visa or permit do I actually need to apply for, and what documents trip people up at the Jameron Electronics area offices or immigration? Any idea how long the extension usually takes?

just get a 9(a) tourist visa then extend at the Intramuros BI office every 2 months, that covers 4 to 5 months fine. The ACR I-Card is teh thing that trips people up, you'll need it once you pass 59 days. Bring extra passport photos, they always ask.

the annual report thing in january catches people too, you file it at BI even if ur visa is still valid

also book an online appointment before going, walk ins at the main office get turned away fast

emigration clearance certificate is the one nobody mentions, get it at BI main before you leave or you get flagged next trip

9(a) works but get ur ACR I-Card at the main office on Magallanes Dr, not Intramuros, that's where the fingerprinting happens

I'll be near Chang Coffee & Tea in the meantime, so does anyone know a reliable immigration office nearby and what documents usually trip people up? I've read the 6 month extension needs an ACR I card and I'm not sure if that's still the case.
