How reliable is the wifi there and in Manila generally, and do people stay for hours or is it more of a quick stop? Also curious how late cafes tend to stay open and whether coworking spaces are worth the cost.

Wifi in Manila cafes is hit or miss, so grab a Smart prepaid sim as backup; most places let you stay for hours if you keep ordering.
