Where to find Novo Sabor in Sao Paulo 2026

Question

I'm visiting Sao Paulo next month and a friend keeps telling me to try Novo Sabor. Can anyone tell me where it is and what dishes I shouldn't miss there?

doro · Answer

If it's the spot by Mercado Municipal, get the pastel de queijo with caldo de cana, and go before noon on a weekday.

doro · Answer

Ask your friend which zona it's in, since I've only seen a Novo Sabor pastel counter out in Tatuapé.

doro · Answer

Tbh Novo Sabor is a pretty common name around here, so you might be chasing teh wrong spot. If it's the one near Liberdade, grab the feijoada and a pastel de carne. Ask your friend for the neighborhood, that'd narrow it down.

merlindmann · Answer

just google it, there are like forty places with names close to that and half of them are pastel joints. your friend probably means the lanchonete on rua augusta, but honestly idk why anyone asks this on a q&a site
