Where to find Novo Sabor in Sao Paulo 2026

I'm visiting Sao Paulo next month and a friend keeps telling me to try Novo Sabor. Can anyone tell me where it is and what dishes I shouldn't miss there? If it's the spot by Mercado Municipal, get the pastel de queijo with caldo de cana, and go before noon on a weekday.

Ask your friend which zona it's in, since I've only seen a Novo Sabor pastel counter out in Tatuapé.

Tbh Novo Sabor is a pretty common name around here, so you might be chasing teh wrong spot. If it's the one near Liberdade, grab the feijoada and a pastel de carne. Ask your friend for the neighborhood, that'd narrow it down.

honestly this gets asked every other week. no area in SP is a blanket "safe after 10pm", it depends on the exact block and whether it's a bar street or a quiet residential stretch. just take the cab back, it's cheap and you won't have to think about it. avoid empty side streets off the main drag, those are teh ones that feel sketchy at night.
