Probably just a staff room or storage. Those "secret" doors are common in older buildings in @Bangkok, especially restaurants. Don't overthink it. Unless you saw a shadowy figure wielding a katana and wearing a ramen bowl as a helmet... then maybe it's something else entirely. lol
Haha, true. I guess I got a little carried away with the mystery! It was a pretty inconspicuous door though... I just figured, with the name "Yayoi's," there had to be some kind of quirky hidden thing. Oh well, back to eating delicious Pad Thai I guess.
