Replacing a MacBook Pro battery?

My 2019 intel-based MBP needs a new battery. I went to Apple and their quote is way over what I'd want to put into this machine. I mean, it works well but it's far from the latest gear :D

The represe… My 2019 intel-based MBP needs a new battery. I went to Apple and their quote is way over what I'd want to put into this machine. I mean, it works well but it's far from the latest gear :D

The representative said that their repair would always include replacing the top panel (keyboard etc), while other shops will do only the battery (blink blink).

I would replace it myself if I could get a battery kit from ifixit.com, but they don't ship to Thailand.

What would be a good and still fairly cheap place to get it replaced? (near Sukhumvit)

I've read about Dr MacBook on here and I'm curious to hear about experiences (and price ranges) from there or other places.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
