Visiting the Citadel next month and wondering if there are ATMs or exchange spots right around the entrance, or if I should sort cash before heading up. Also do most places nearby take cards now or is it still cash only?

The Nile Hilton exchange desk, weekdays before noon.

honestly sort ur cash before u go up, teh ATMs right by the entrance are hit or miss and can run dry on weekends. cards work at bigger hotels and restaurants downtown but around the Citadel itself expect cash only for snacks and tickets.
