Best salted coffee in Ho Chi Minh City 2026?

Question

I'm visiting Ho Chi Minh City next month and keep seeing The Salty Coffee mentioned for its salted coffee. Is it worth a detour, and what's the best time to go to avoid a wait?

evalinde · Answer

Ca Phe Muoi on Ly Tu Trong, 7am.

evalinde · Answer

yeah the 9am cutoff matches what i saw. one thing though, The Salty Coffee has a second spot on Nguyen Trai now, way shorter queue and same drink. worth trying if district 1 is packed.

I went there on a trip last year and the salted coffee was solid but honestly Ca Phe Muoi on Ly Tu Trong hit the same note with no crowd. Go before 8am if you do hit The Salty Coffee, teh line gets rough after 9.
