I'm coming through Gejiu for a month or two next spring and need to keep working online. How's the wifi at places like Quán Trà Sữa Henry Tả, and are there cafes where you can sit for a few hours without feeling like you're overstaying? Also curious whether anyone there keeps hours overlapping with Europe or the US.

i was in Gejiu last october, not living there, but worked a few days from cafes. Quán Trà Sữa Henry Tả is a milk tea spot, fine for an hour but not a work cafe. better to look around the Jinhu area, the bigger coffee shops there have decent wifi and nobody rushes u. for europe hours you'll be up early anyway, gejiu is quiet before 9 so that's actually ur best window
