Total Non-O (for retirement) cost including bank fees?

I've read a number of threads and blog posts but still haven't been able to figure out how much it would cost for the Non-O including bank/transfer fees for the ฿800000.

Does anybody have experience with this and know how much it all costs in total? Could be bank wire transfer/SWIFT or Wise, whatever. From reading it sounds like Wise isn't a bargain past a certain amount.

It's not about the application fees, which are fixed, it's trying to figure out how much it will end up costing for the transfer and currency conversion. Exchange rates vary, but I'm hoping to just get a concrete example and then can figure out the difference.

I think it will be in the hundreds of dollars USD in total, but am not certain how much. $500-600?

I'm also concerned about getting it back out if I end up leaving in the future, as that will be another hit, and there seem to be rules about how you want to have the transaction categorized to avoid problems both coming in and potentially going out again.

Thanks.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
