How common is it for Bangkok condos to have BBQ Areas?

My condo has a large podium garden/ communal area with quite a lot of inefficient use of space. They could easily have provided an area residents can book for BBQs but they haven't. Why when such amen… My condo has a large podium garden/ communal area with quite a lot of inefficient use of space. They could easily have provided an area residents can book for BBQs but they haven't. Why when such amenities are quite common in condos in places like Singapore is a not a thing here? Or is it?

In my experience in Singapore you have to book the BBQ area, sometimes with a small fee and you can even consume alcohol (responsibly).

I can only assume they think residents wouldn't behave themselves. Despite it being against the law, my condo gets quite a few Air BnB guests who might be less concerned about causing a nuisance to neighbours but you could get around that with the booking system (direct by owners only). Maybe Thai people are less into BBQs, it's readily available on the street. Thoughts?

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
