Quick barbers in Bangkok?...

Reason I'm asking is because back in the west, my haircut would take around 10/15 mins. I have a buzz cut with a skin fade. However ever since living here in bangkok, it's taking around an hour for my haircut, sometimes I feel like they're cutting nothing and just trying to drag time out for them to make it seem like they're spending more time being careful. I know this sounds rediculous but I've tried 5+ barbers now and have got the same result. I'm not too good at the barbers, quite prone to panic attacks there, think it might be the thing restricting my neck I'm not sure, so yeah id like to know if anyone knows any barbers that don't mess around and get the job done. Thank you

if you're getting a skin fade just go to a proper barber shop not a salon. try sukhumvit soi 33 there's a spot called black gold barber, the owner used to work in london. he does a buzz fade in like 12-15 mins flat, 300 baht. just show him a photo and say "เร็วๆ" and he'll get it.

for the panic thing, try sitting without the neck strap. most barbers here are chill if you tell them "ไม่ต้องใส่ผ้าคลุม" or just point at it and wave no. also helps if you pick a spot with open air like a street barber, less enclosed feeling

honestly just go to a barber in a mall like the ones in centralworld or siam paragon, the middle floor ones not the fancy shops. they do fades pretty quick like 15-20 mins and cost around 150-200 baht. tell em "จั๊กกะแร้สกิน fade" and show a pic on your phone, they get it fast.

for the panic thing maybe try a place that's less busy like early morning or late afternoon, fewer people around helps. the neck strap thing is annoying but you can ask them to loosen it or just sit without it, most will understand.

try the barber shops on the ground floor of terminal 21 asok, the little stalls near the food court. they do buzz fades in like 10 mins flat, 100 baht. just point at your head and say "สกิน fade เร็วๆ" and they'll speed through it.

for the panic thing, maybe go to a barber outside like on the street, those open air spots near bts stations. no neck strap, just a chair and the wind. feels way less claustrophobic.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
