Chula school of business or NIDA Bangkok ? For MBA (can we finish it within 1.5-2 years)

Which one is better for mba (English program) and I also wanted to ask if the education system there is chill or super competitive? Which one is better for mba (English program) and I also wanted to ask if the education system there is chill or super competitive?

chula's business school is more academic-focused while NIDA is basically built for working professionals. NIDA's curriculum is designed around part-time students so the scheduling is way more flexible if you're working. the competition at NIDA comes more from students trying to network and climb the corporate ladder rather than fighting over grades. both let you finish in 2 years if you take summer courses but NIDA's sathorn campus location makes it easier to balance work and study

fwiw the real difference comes down to what kind of classmates you want. chula attracts fresh grads and international students so the vibe is younger and more grade focused. nida's cohort is mostly thai managers in their 30s who already have 5+ years experience, so the discussion quality in class is way better imo but the social life is drier. both english programs let you finish in 2 years easy if you plan summers, but nida's trimester system means you can actually do 1.5 years without killing yourself. the chula library near sam yan is nicer tho if you care about study spaces

i'd pick chula if u want more flexibility in electives and a bigger alumni network across industries. nida's program is more structured and focused on public/private sector leadership, which works if you already know your direction. both can be done in 1.5-2 years if you take summer courses and plan ahead with the registrar. the environment leans competitive but not cutthroat, more about who gets the better group project roles than anything else

best som tam in Bangkok? Krua Dok Mai Kao 2026

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
