I've looked at the usual sites I would use for something like this in the USA (Craigslist, Upwork, etc) but they don't seem to be popular here. Does anyone have any idea where I can post this part-time job or where I should look to find a Bangkok native, English speaker who is interested in some part-time work?

And of course, if anyone reading this is interested, please DM me. Thanks.

check facebook groups tbh. "bangkok expats" or "bangkok freelancers" are super active and you'll find people who do this kind of thing regularly. also try the community notice board at villa market or foodland on sukhumvit soi 33, they still have physical postings sometimes. rates for a decent bilingual guide are usually around 300-500 baht an hour, plus their transport if they're going somewhere out of the way

try asking at the lobby of any mid-range hotel in sukhumvit, like the ones around soi 11 or 22. the front desk staff often know freelancers who do this on the side and can vouch for them. also check the bulletin board at the british council on sathorn, they have a job posting section and the people there tend to have proper english certification. just be clear about the hours upfront, traffic here can eat into your schedule fast

honestly skip the expat groups, too many people asking way too much. look on pantip or even thaivisa forums, that's where locals who actually know the city hang out. rates are more like 200-350 baht an hour if you find someone through there, and they'll know the real spots not just the tourist traps

if you're staying near a university like chulalongkorn or thammasat, post a flyer at the language center. students are always looking for this kind of gig and their english is usually solid

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
