I'm trying to find some buildings that offer monthly leases. I've been here like 4 months so far but I'm not sure when my adventure with Thailand will end.

I'm staying near the On Nut BTS right now and this building offers monthly leases but I can't seem to find any more.

I've been searching near the Ari BTS area but every place I call wants a yearly lease.

Can you guys recommend a building that offers monthly leases?

Either that or a way to easily find them?

honestly just walk into any condo and ask the juristic office directly. the big ones near ari like Centric Ari or The Lofts usually have a few units set aside for monthly leases even if the agents say no. also check the Line groups for your building, people post sublets there all the time for 1-3 months

fwiw theres a facebook group called "Bangkok Monthly Rentals" that's way more useful than random calls. people post daily with specific buildings and move-in dates. just search "on nut monthly lease" or "ari monthly lease" and youll find stuff within a week

oh and one more thing - some of those newer buildings near ari like Ideo Mobi actually do monthly but only through their own management office, not the agents. costs a bit more like 20-25k instead of 15k but way less hassle

You might have better luck looking at older buildings rather than the new ones around Ari. Places like the Sai Lom Condo or the ones along Soi Ari have residents who've been there for years and will sublet month to month if you just ask around the lobby. The newer towers are all owned by investment companies that want the yearly commitment.

Another option is to check with the building's front desk or security guards directly, they usually know which units are empty and who's flexible. Slip them a couple hundred baht and they'll point you to the right owner. That's how I found my place near On Nut when I was in the same spot last year.

The short answer is you're looking in the wrong places trying to call agents, they don't want short-term. Hop on DDproperty or Hipflat and filter by monthly rental, it's a checkbox on both sites. I found my place near Thong Lo in about ten minutes that way. Most

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
