for a more structured crowd, punch pass at the commons in thonglor has regular founder meetups and workshops, it's less about just drinking and more about actually building stuff. also the bangkok founders club does a monthly dinner at various spots around town, mostly smaller groups where you actually talk instead of just exchanging cards. good mix of early stage and scaling startups there
fwiw there's a solid group that meets at the coffee shop inside warehouse 30 on charoen krung road every wednesday afternoon. it's more creative tech founders than the thonglor finance types. also the rooftop bar at the jam factory has a loose friday evening thing where people just show up with laptops and beers, no formal meetup name or anything. just look for the table with the most macbooks and empty singha bottles
The Thonglor coworking scene is fine but everyone's got their headphones on. For actual conversation try the coffee counter at WWA Cafe on Ekkamai around 3pm on weekdays, it's a tiny room where you're basically sitting next to strangers. Also check out the monthly Founder's Meetup at Karmakamet Diner on Sukhumvit 24, it's usually the last Thursday and costs 200 baht with a drink included.
