is this the best university?

You might be better off asking current students what they actually complain about. The official tours and open houses are polished, but the real picture comes from sitting in on a lecture or two and seeing how the professors interact with students. Some unis in Bangkok have massive class sizes where you're just a number, while others keep things small enough that you can actually get feedback on your work.

look, if you're just after the name that impresses thai employers the most, chulalongkorn is your answer. but if you're planning to work abroad after graduating, the bangkok uni with the best international recognition is probably mahidol, especially for health sciences. i'd also check which ones have actual partnerships with companies in your field, that matters way more than prestige when you're job hunting later

yeah "best" is kinda meaningless here without context but if ur talking about overall campus life and not just academics i'd say thammasat's rangsit campus has the best vibe. huge green spaces, proper sports facilities, and tha prachan campus is right by the river for night markets after class. chula feels like ur studying in a concrete jungle tbh, all those soi streets packed between siam square. plus thammasat's tuition is cheaper for international programs, like half what chula charges for some degrees

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
