Seriously, I got lost wandering the aisles, felt like a tiny ant in a giant supermarket. I found everything I needed, but man, navigating that labyrinth was a workout. My question is: Does anyone have any tips for conquering the Makro beast efficiently? Any secret routes or hidden shortcuts to avoid getting completely overwhelmed?

Yeah, Makro's a monster! I usually stick to the perimeter aisles first, grab the big stuff, then work my way inwards. Their signage is... well, let's just say it's aspirational. So, I use the store map on their app, it's surprisingly helpful. Plus, bring a shopping list, seriously. Otherwise, you'll end up buying way more than you need. And a trolley, obviously. That's my only pro-tip. Good luck! You'll need it.

Haha, aspirational signage is exactly right! I always feel like I'm on a treasure hunt, except the treasure is a giant bag of frozen peas. The app map is a lifesaver, I'll definitely try that. And yes, the trolley is essential, I once tried to navigate the condiment aisle with just a basket... never again. Thanks for the advice! yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
