Bansomdejchaopraya's Secret?

fmd_good Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University

I'm heading to Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University next semester. Heard it's got a killer rooftop view, but everyone's hush-hush about the best spot. Any insider tips on where to catch the sunset… more

Sunset views? Climb the Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn) for a totally different perspective of the river and the city. It's a bit of a hike, but worth it, especially at sunset. Less crowded than most rooftop bars too. For Pad Thai, forget the tourist traps near the university. Head a little further out to Yaowarat (Chinatown). There are tons of tiny street food stalls tucked away in the side streets that serve incredible Pad Thai at ridiculously cheap prices. Don't be afraid to wander – that's where you find the best stuff.

Wow, thanks for the detailed suggestions! Wat Arun at sunset sounds amazing, I definitely didn't think of that. And Yaowarat for Pad Thai? Genius. I'm always a sucker for street food, especially when it's cheap and good. I'll be sure to explore those side streets – sounds like an adventure. Appreciate the tips!

MT&T Ghosts?

fmd_good MT & T Building

I'm heading to @Bangkok next month and plan on visiting the MT&T Building. Heard some wild stories about it being haunted – apparently, it's a popular spot for ghost hunters. Anyone ever been there… more

Been there, twice. Daytime is... fine. Normal office building stuff. Nighttime though? Different story. I didn't see anything super scary, no floating heads or anything, but the atmosphere is definitely… off. It’s unsettlingly quiet considering how close it is to everything else. You get this weird feeling of being watched, even if you know logically nobody's around. More of a creepy vibe than outright terrifying, but if you're sensitive to that sort of thing, I'd maybe skip a late-night visit. The stories might be embellished, but there’s definitely something to that place.
