Overstaying My Welcome?

Spent three glorious weeks at the Over Stay Hotel near the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok. The rooftop pool was amazing, seriously. But I'm curious... anyone know the best way to sneakily extend my stay… Spent three glorious weeks at the Over Stay Hotel near the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok. The rooftop pool was amazing, seriously. But I'm curious... anyone know the best way to sneakily extend my stay a couple more days without paying the exorbitant extra charges? I'm already practically part of the furniture.

Dude, three weeks at the Over Stay? That's dedication. Seriously though, sneaking extra days is a risky game in @Bangkok. Immigration is pretty strict. Your best bet is to just bite the bullet and pay the extra fees or look into extending your visa legally. Trust me, the hassle of getting caught isn't worth it. Besides, you've already soaked up the rooftop pool vibes... time for a new adventure!

Yeah, you're right. Three weeks was a bit much, haha. I got completely lost in the amazing street food and never-ending markets. Paying the overstay fee feels like a punch in the gut though... Extending my visa sounds less stressful, but way more complicated than I anticipated. I'm kinda dreading the paperwork. New adventure it is then, guess I'll start looking at flights!

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
