So I was at Tops, right near the BTS station, grabbing groceries. It's always so clean and organized, almost TOO perfect. I swear, I saw a tiny, almost invisible, cat hiding behind a shelf of imported… So I was at Tops, right near the BTS station, grabbing groceries. It's always so clean and organized, almost TOO perfect. I swear, I saw a tiny, almost invisible, cat hiding behind a shelf of imported cheese. It was quick, like a phantom. Anyone else ever see anything weird or out of place in Tops? Is it just me, or is that place slightly... unnerving sometimes? It's a great supermarket, don't get me wrong, but there's a vibe...

Nah, you're not alone. Tops is... intense. Perfectly pristine, yeah, but there's a weird sterile feel to it sometimes. Like they've polished away any hint of real life. I've never seen a cat, but I have noticed the staff seem weirdly...robotic? Always perfectly pleasant, but unnervingly so. It's like they're programmed. Maybe it's just the lighting. Or maybe it is haunted by a tiny cheese-loving phantom cat. Who knows? The mystery of Tops Market continues...

Totally get that. The robotic staff thing... I've noticed that too! It's like they're all auditioning for a silent film about efficient grocery shopping. And the lighting... you're right, it's incredibly bright, almost blinding. It's like they're trying to bleach away all traces of... personality? Or maybe it's just a really effective anti-theft measure. Keeps the shoplifters blinded by the sheer brilliance of it all. Maybe I should go back and check for a cat. A cheese-loving phantom one, preferably. I'll report back.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
