Heard whispers about a secret society of students who supposedly hold the key to some really old, maybe even spooky, university lore. Anyone know anything about this? Seriously, I'm hoping to uncover something interesting beyond the usual academic stuff... I'm already picturing myself deciphering ancient Thai scrolls or something equally dramatic. Maybe it's just a rumour, but a little mystery never hurt anyone, right?

Sounds like a fun side quest for your conference trip! Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University is pretty close to several older temples and historical sites in the area. Maybe the "secret society" lore is intertwined with local legends tied to those places? Worth checking out some local history books or even talking to some of the older vendors around the university. They often know the juiciest gossip and local stories. Don't expect ancient scrolls though, those are usually kept under lock and key in national archives. But you might find some interesting old photographs or local newspaper clippings relating to the university's history, that could be a good starting point. yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
