So I was cruising through @Bangkok late last night, famished after a crazy Muay Thai session. Needed a quick bite, right? Found myself at this... well, it was the place. Bright lights, buzzing with… So I was cruising through @Bangkok late last night, famished after a crazy Muay Thai session. Needed a quick bite, right? Found myself at this... well, it was the place. Bright lights, buzzing with people grabbing snacks and drinks. I snagged a mango sticky rice and a cold Singha. The rice was... interesting. Way sweeter than I expected. Almost offensively sweet. But the beer? Perfection. My question is: What's the deal with the wildly varying quality of prepared food at these places? Some locations have amazing stuff, others... not so much. It's a gamble every time!

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
