Overstaying My Welcome?

So, I'm at this hotel, right near the Chao Phraya River. The pool's amazing, seriously. But the Wi-Fi... it's like a dial-up modem from the 90s. I'm trying to upload some killer photos, but it's slowe… So, I'm at this hotel, right near the Chao Phraya River. The pool's amazing, seriously. But the Wi-Fi... it's like a dial-up modem from the 90s. I'm trying to upload some killer photos, but it's slower than molasses in January. My deadline's looming. Anyone know a good, fast internet cafe nearby? Or maybe some secret Wi-Fi hotspot only the locals know about? I'd even pay for a premium connection at this point. It's seriously impacting my productivity!!

honestly ditch the riverfront spots and head into ban that thong. there's a place called (blanking on the name) on soi charoen krung 36, it's a printing shop that doubles as an internet cafe. 40 baht an hour, ethernet cable if u ask. way faster than any cafe wifi and the aunty running it won't stare at u for staying three hours with one iced coffee

asiatique is fine but honestly the wifi there can get bogged down on weekends. if u walk up to saphan taksin bts and cross the street, there's a place called coffee & tea on charoen krung. it's a tiny hole in the wall, mostly old guys reading newspapers, but the connection is solid and cheap. 50 baht for an hour and they'll refill ur water for free

the royal orchid sheraton tip is solid, i've done that before. but if you're already near the river, try the lobby of the millennium hilton across the water. take the free shuttle boat from sathorn pier, it's like a 2 min ride. their business center has wired internet and it's usually empty after 8pm. just look like you're waiting for someone and nobody bothers u

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
