The website mentions parking, but it's vague. Any tips on where to park, or should I just bite the bullet and use a taxi/Grab? Seriously considering a scooter rental now, but then I'd worry about parking THAT... I'm expecting a crowd, and finding a spot could be a nightmare.

if ur conference is during the week the charan sanitwong road traffic is brutal from like 7:30 to 9am, i live nearby and it's bumper to bumper. there's a wat phichaiyat parking lot about 8 mins walk southeast of the uni, 30 baht all day and the monks don't care about conference crowds. grab is still the smarter play unless you enjoy sitting in a metal box for 40 mins going nowhere

honestly if you're set on driving, there's a market area about a 5-minute walk from the university on Charan Sanitwong Road that has some paid lots. they're like 20-30 baht for a few hours, way cheaper than a scooter rental and you won't have to deal with the uni gate guards. but yeah, grab's still the move if you don't wanna walk in this heat

Parking near Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University can be tricky, especially during a conference. The university's own parking might fill up fast. Your best bet is probably Grab or a taxi, less hassle than fighting for a spot, and cheaper than a scooter rental considering parking fees. Plus, scooters in Bangkok traffic... oof. Unless you're really comfortable navigating Bangkok on two wheels, I'd stick to the app.

Yeah, that sounds about right. I was thinking the same thing, the scooter idea seemed appealing until I pictured myself weaving through that crazy @Bangkok traffic. Grab sounds like the winner. Thanks for the tip!

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
