tbh the best thing you can do now is check your google account's location history if you had it on, it'll show you exactly where your phone was last pinged before it died or went offline. I've seen people at places like The Game or Score on Sukhumvit find their phones hours later by doing that, sometimes the battery just dies and it's sitting under a cushion. also, those sports clubs in Bangkok usually have a CCTV room in the back, if you're still in town you could ask the manager nicely to review the footage around the pool tables, they've done it for me before when my wallet went missing

If you're still in the area, walk back to the club during daylight hours when it's less chaotic. The cleaning crew usually finds stuff in the early morning when they're mopping up, and they leave it with the morning manager, not the night staff. I've had a friend retrieve a wallet from Soi 11's WIP Sports Bar that way, the night shift had no clue about it. Also check the nearby 7-Eleven on the corner, sometimes people turn in lost phones there if they found it on the street outside.

I'd call your phone from a friend's line first, sometimes people pick up if they find it and want to return it. Bangkok's sports clubs on Sukhumvit Soi 11 like The Game or WIP usually have a WhatsApp group for staff that gets updated with lost items overnight, the morning crew might not know to check. Also check with the security guard at the Soi 11 entrance booth, they sometimes collect stuff from taxis and street vendors who find things after the club closes around 3am.

Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but I've always found their som tam a bit tame on the pla ra. If you want the real funky version, try the shophouse spots along Soi Udomsuk 26, near the night market end. They pound it fresh with fermented fish that'll clear your sinuses, and it's like 60 baht. Different style from the On Nut places, more Lao-leaning.

for som tam specifically i'd say the Isaan spots in Chatuchak are underrated, weekdays only though since the weekend crowd ruins the vibe. there's a stall near gate 2 that does tam pa with fermented bamboo shoots, super sour and funky, not something you see much in On Nut. if you're already heading north for Or Tor Kor anyway its worth the detour.

honestly the som tam at Krua Dok Mai Kao is good but what got me hooked is their nam prik pla raa dip with the raw veggies, that funk hits way harder than the papaya does. think most people sleep on it cuz they just order the som tam and gai yang. also pro tip, go before noon on weekdays, after that teh pla ra gets milder cuz they batch it for the lunch rush
