It's tricky. Most Thai banks are heavily reliant on local phone numbers and verification processes tied to Thai ID cards. A VPN won't bypass that authentication because it's not just about IP address; it's about the linked mobile number and the confirmation codes sent to it. Unless the bank specifically offers some sort of international access feature (which is unlikely), accessing your Thai account from overseas is probably going to be a no-go. Your best bet might be power of attorney – granting someone in Thailand access – but that has its own legal complexities.

It's exactly as hyped as your friend says. Seriously. The atmosphere is electric, it's got this weird mix of local regulars and tourists who somehow get it. There’s no secret handshake or anything, it’s just… vibes. It’s the kind of place where you can easily spend hours just observing the scene unfold. Think less "hidden meaning" and more "perfectly curated chaos". You'll understand when you're there. Go early, it gets packed.
