If you're staying near Sukhumvit, the travel time alone makes Premium Outlet a tough sell. The shuttle from Udom Suk BTS runs every hour and if you miss it, you're waiting or paying 200+ baht for a Grab. City malls have actual sales events, especially during June and December, where discounts are comparable without the commute. I'd only make the trip if you're already heading to Bang Na for something else, like BITEC or the giant IKEA.

honestly unless you have a car and a lot of time to kill, skip premium outlet. the selection is mostly last season stuff from brands you can find at centralworld or siam paragon anyway, and the discounts aren't that much better. the drive from bts udom suk to the outlet is like 45 mins in good traffic, which in bangkok means you're prob looking at an hour and a half each way. city malls like siam center or terminal 21 have way more variety and better food options, plus you can hop between them on the bts. if you're after actual deals, check out the chatuchak weekend market or mbk center instead, those are more worth your time.

fwiw i'd say it really depends what brands you're after. premium outlet has a lot of the same stuff you'd find at the airport or online sales, but if you're into things like calvin klein or coach they sometimes have specific outlet-exclusive lines that aren't in the city malls. the food court there is actually decent and way cheaper than siam paragon's basement though, like 60 baht for a bowl of boat noodles. still, if you're only here for a few days your time is better spent at terminal 21's souvenir floor or wandering around samyan mitrtown where the locals shop

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
