If you want to get away from Khao San for a bit, check out the weed shops around Ari. There's a spot called Cloud Nine that's got a nice rooftop and the crowd is more mixed with locals and travelers. I usually grab a preroll from there and walk over to the tiny park near Ari BTS to chill.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
