Plays Nirvana, Guns 'N Roses, Bon Jovi, Linkin Park, everything under the sun.

Does he do this every evening? What's his story? Who/where his family at? Thanks for anything.

That's the kid everyone calls "Little Drum" by the Siam BTS exit. He's been out there almost every evening for the last two years, usually from around 5pm until the skywalk crowd thins out past 9. Word is his family runs a small food stall in one of the sois off Ratchathewi, so he's not homeless or anything. He's just genuinely that obsessed with classic rock and drumming, learned everything from YouTube and old CDs his uncle gave him.

Saw him last month during a layover, genuinely jaw-dropping technique for someone so young. If you're around on a weekend morning, check out the art space on the fourth floor of Siam Discovery. He sometimes does shorter sets there when the heat gets unbearable.

yeah he's basically a local legend now, i've seen him a few times over the years. dude's got insane stamina playing for hours straight in that heat, i don't know how he does it. his mom's noodle cart is legit too, try the boat noodles if u swing

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
