honestly skip the usual chatuchak tourist traps for boho stuff, check out the vintage shops along charoen krung near talad noi. there's a spot called wwa chooseless that's more curated but still has that boho vibe with tons of handwoven textiles and rattan pieces. prices are fair for the quality, around 500-1500 baht for smaller decor items

the thrift stores around ari are slept on for boho stuff honestly. there's a small place called pengthong on phahon yothin soi 7 that has piles of vintage linens and baskets for like 100-300 baht. also check out koh kret on a weekend, the ceramic and woven goods from the mon community there are super authentic and way cheaper than anything in the city proper

there's this hidden spot in the rattanakosin area called ba hao, it's an old shophouse turned into a curated vintage store with a lot of boho textiles and ceramic pieces from local artisans. they have these hand-painted lamps and woven wall hangings that actually feel authentic, not mass-produced. prices are a bit higher, think 1000-3000 baht, but the quality's solid. also, the weekend market at bang kra jao has some random stalls selling vintage indonesian sarongs and rattan baskets for cheap, like 200-500 baht, just gotta look past all the street food

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
