It's my first time having to do the 90-day report, I managed to fill it out online, but got rejected saying needs to be done in-person.

Can this be done by a third party? Or do I specifically need to show up? If third party, are there any service that anyone has used before?

since you got rejected online, agents can definitely handle it but make sure they know it's a first-time in-person requirement. some agents will charge extra if they have to explain things to the officer, like 500 baht instead of the usual 200. if you're on sukhumvit, the visa shops near nana bts are convenient but i'd call ahead to confirm they do the 90-day reports specifically, not just visa runs. also keep a copy of everything you give them, just in case

honestly if you're near the old immigration on Soi Suan Plu there's a row of agents on the left side just before the soi ends. they're cheaper than the chaeng wattana ones, like 150 baht. just bring your passport and the rejection slip, they'll handle the power of attorney form on the spot. one thing though, make sure they stamp your passport with the new report date, some agents forget and you'll have to go back. I'd avoid the ones in the IT mall basement myself, they're fine but the queue there gets ridiculous after 10am.

If you're near the Phra Khanong area, there's a small agency on Sukhumvit 71 just past the Big C that does 90-day reports for 250 baht. They're less busy than the ones near Nana and usually have it done in a couple hours. The key thing with a first time rejection is that the officer sometimes wants to see your TM6 departure card, so make sure whichever agent you use has that too. Most people forget about the TM6 and it holds things up.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
