tbh if you want chill with good drinks and a view that doesnt feel like a club, Tichuca Rooftop Bar is solid. it's got that cool tree lit up in the center and the vibe is more loungey than party. just get there before 8pm or you'll be queuing for ages, the drinks are like 350-500 baht which is reasonable for a rooftop

another option is Octave Rooftop Lounge & Bar at the Marriott Sukhumvit. it's got a few different levels so you can find your own quiet spot, and the DJ is usually decent but not too loud. they do a nice lychee martini if you're into that

for something even more lowkey, try the rooftop at A-One Bangkok on Ratchada. it's not instagram-famous but the crowd is mostly locals and the cocktails are around 250 baht. plus the view of the city is actually pretty good since it's a bit further from the center

If you want something super chill and not touristy, check out Sky View Bar at Novotel Platinum. It's not as famous as the others but the vibe is low key, drinks are affordable around 300 baht, and you get a solid view of the city without the crazy queues or loud music.

honestly just skip the super crowded spots and check out Above Eleven. its a rooftop but way more relaxed than the touristy ones. drinks are solid and vibe is chill

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
