I've been to Pattaya and the walking street has a lot of gogos and clubs. I would LT someone and hit the clubs to have some fun and return to my hotel later. I want to do something similar in BKK.

I want some tips about the clubs near Nana plaza and soi cowboy. I am interested in getting to the VIP section/tables, have some drinks there and dance/vibe on the 808 music.

Please give me some club recommendations where I can take the girl to.

Most of the spots people mention are on Sukhumvit side streets, but for what you're describing I'd actually point you toward a different area. Sing Sing Theater on Soi 45 has a very specific dark, theatrical vibe with heavy bass and a sound system that handles 808 well. The VIP section there is more about presentation than just a table with a bottle, you'll get a dedicated host and the minimum spend is around 5-8k baht depending on the night. It is a 5 minute taxi from Nana and the girls from the gogos seem to enjoy the atmosphere because it feels more like a production than a standard club. Just make sure your lady has proper shoes, they enforce the dress code at the door.

honestly skip the main clubs on nana soi 4 itself, theyre more of a tourist trap vibe. for actually taking a girl to a club with proper 808 bass, try Glow on Sukhumvit 23, its a short walk from Soi Cowboy and the sound system is legit. VIP tables there run around 3-5k baht minimum spend which is decent compared to the overpriced spots on RCA.

if you want something closer to Nana, Levels on top of the Nana hotel is alright but the music is more EDM than 808. the rooftop bar at Above Eleven has good vibes but its not really a club for dancing. Glow is prob your best bet for that bass-heavy vibe where a girl from the gogo will actually enjoy the music too.

If you're coming from Nana with a lady in tow, skip the chaos of Soi 4 altogether and head to Demo on Sukhumvit 15. It's a 50 baht taxi ride from Nana, the sound system handles 808 well, and the VIP tables are easy to book same night for around 4-5k baht minimum. The crowd is a mix of Thai locals and expats, so you won't feel like you're in a tourist pen, and the girls from the gogos actually seem to enjoy the vibe more than the overpriced spots on Soi Cowboy. Just tell the taxi to drop you at the mouth of Soi 15 and walk in past the street vendors.

best som tam in Bangkok? Krua Dok Mai Kao 2026

Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but I've always found their som tam a bit tame on the pla ra. If you want the real funky version, try the shophouse spots along Soi Udomsuk 26, near the night market end. They pound it fresh with fermented fish that'll clear your sinuses, and it's like 60 baht. Different style from the On Nut places, more Lao-leaning.

for som tam specifically i'd say the Isaan spots in Chatuchak are underrated, weekdays only though since the weekend crowd ruins the vibe. there's a stall near gate 2 that does tam pa with fermented bamboo shoots, super sour and funky, not something you see much in On Nut. if you're already heading north for Or Tor Kor anyway its worth the detour.

honestly the som tam at Krua Dok Mai Kao is good but what got me hooked is their nam prik pla raa dip with the raw veggies, that funk hits way harder than the papaya does. think most people sleep on it cuz they just order the som tam and gai yang. also pro tip, go before noon on weekdays, after that teh pla ra gets milder cuz they batch it for the lunch rush
