What's my best option for sending some stuff home to the UK? It would just a few items of clothing etc.I'd really appreciate any advice! πŸ™

i'd skip the post office tbh, the queue at samyan mitrtown can be brutal on weekends. there's a little shop called "pack & send" on sukhumvit soi 11 near the villa market that does boxes and handles all the customs paperwork for you, they know exactly what to write for uk-bound stuff. charged me 650 baht for a 3kg box of clothes to manchester via air, arrived in 10 days. they'll even tape up a bag if u don't have a box

check out the post office at samyan mitrtown, it's open late and has a shipping counter that handles international parcels pretty smoothly. for a few clothes, just grab a box from the 7-11 next door and pack it tight, surface mail will take like 6-8 weeks but it's way cheaper than air. make sure to fill out the customs form honestly or it'll get stuck at london sorting office for ages, happened to a mate with some old trainers

honestly, you might be better off just hitting up a DHL branch in a mall like Siam Paragon. bit pricier but it gets there in a week instead of waiting months for surface mail. clothes are light anyway so the cost diff isnt that huge

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
