Coworking Space Suggestions for Silom Neighborhood/Area?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

The Hive on Sathorn is probably your best bet in that area. It's a bit tucked away on Soi Sathorn 12, but it has a solid mix of open desks and private rooms, plus the aircon actually works well which matters in December. They do day passes for 350 baht or a monthly membership if you're committed. I'd avoid the WeWork on Sathorn Square unless you need the flashy stuff, it gets crowded with finance types and the coffee is overpriced.

since you're in silom for a full month, you might want to check out the library at the british council on sathorn. it's not a coworking space exactly but they have a quiet reading room with desks and free wifi for 100 baht a day if you get a visitor pass. the walls are thick so phone calls are a no-go but for heads-down work it's golden. just bring headphones for the occasional tour group passing through.

there's a spot called "the work loft" on silom soi 3 that i haven't seen mentioned yet. it's above a small restaurant so you can smell curry while you work but it's actually pretty charming. day pass is 300 baht and they have these big windows that open up so you're not trapped in AC all day. the crowd is mostly freelancers and students so it stays chill, not like the corporate vibes at justco

Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but I've always found their som tam a bit tame on the pla ra. If you want the real funky version, try the shophouse spots along Soi Udomsuk 26, near the night market end. They pound it fresh with fermented fish that'll clear your sinuses, and it's like 60 baht. Different style from the On Nut places, more Lao-leaning.

for som tam specifically i'd say the Isaan spots in Chatuchak are underrated, weekdays only though since the weekend crowd ruins the vibe. there's a stall near gate 2 that does tam pa with fermented bamboo shoots, super sour and funky, not something you see much in On Nut. if you're already heading north for Or Tor Kor anyway its worth the detour.

honestly the som tam at Krua Dok Mai Kao is good but what got me hooked is their nam prik pla raa dip with the raw veggies, that funk hits way harder than the papaya does. think most people sleep on it cuz they just order the som tam and gai yang. also pro tip, go before noon on weekdays, after that teh pla ra gets milder cuz they batch it for the lunch rush
