imo the public courts at Lumpini are fine for a quick rally but they get busy early mornings and weekends. if you want something more chill, try the courts at the National Stadium complex near Siam, they have a booking system and last I checked they rent rackets for like 100 baht. just call ahead since November is still hot season and they might close the outdoor ones if it rains.

honestly the best bet for renting rackets is probably the courts at klong toei's sports complex, they have a proper shop that loans out gear for like 50 baht a pop. the courts themselves are concrete and a bit worn but totally fine for hitting around. just fyi the nearest bts is queen sirikit convention center station, it's about a 10 min walk from there

yeah there's a few public courts around lumpini park, they're pretty basic but free. i think there's a spot near benjakitti park too that rents rackets, but you'd prob wanna call ahead to check

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
