check out the fitness center at the marriott executive apartments on thonglor, they do day passes for like 600 baht and the view from the 20th floor pool/gym area is solid. also the westin grande sukhumvit has a decent setup with a good sky view, think their day pass is around 800. both are quieter than the really touristy hotel gyms around nana

try the fitness first at emquartier, it's not a hotel but the 9th floor gym has glass walls facing benjakitti park and the skyline, you can get a day pass for around 300 baht and it's way cheaper than hotel options

honestly you could try the octave rooftop bar at the marriott on sukhumvit 57, they don't have a gym but the view is killer if you just want to chill after a workout. for actual gyms with a view, i think the sheraton grande on sukhumvit 19 has a decent one, day pass is around 500 baht and you can see the city from the pool area too. not sure if they still do it but worth asking

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
